Privacy-First, By Design

WorkoutsQuest Pro is built around a simple principle: your fitness and health data belongs to you. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the controls you have — including Local-First Mode, one-click export, and easy deletion, all available from Settings → Privacy Dashboard.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the app, we may store the following data, primarily on your device via local storage:

Account and onboarding details (fitness goal, experience level, preferred workout time)
Workout, nutrition, hydration, mood, and sleep logs you create
Progress data such as streaks, XP, levels, badges, and body measurements you choose to enter
Squad/social activity if you opt into social features
Device and app-usage diagnostics used to keep the app reliable

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide core functionality: tracking, reminders, gamification, and progress insights
To personalize workout and nutrition suggestions
To improve app performance and fix bugs
To communicate service updates if you've enabled reminders/notifications

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or third parties.

3. Local-First Mode

When Local-First Mode is enabled in Settings, your data is kept on your device only and is not synced to any server. This is the strictest privacy option available.

4. Data Sharing

We only share data with third-party services when strictly necessary to operate the app (for example, nutrition database lookups for barcode scanning). We do not share your personal health data with advertisers.

5. Your Rights and Controls

Export: Download a complete copy of your data as JSON at any time from Settings.
Delete: Permanently erase your data from the app with one confirmation step.
Access: View exactly what's stored via the in-app Privacy Dashboard.
Portability: Exported data is in a standard, human-readable format.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including optional biometric lock (Face ID / fingerprint), to help protect your information from unauthorized access.

7. Children's Privacy

WorkoutsQuest Pro is not directed at children under 13. Family Plan sub-profiles for teens are managed by a parent or guardian account holder.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
